Frequently asked questions
What counts as one email?
One call to the send API counts as one email. Recipients in To, CC, and BCC all count toward your daily recipient limit on the Free plan. On Pro and Enterprise, only emails are counted.
What happens if I hit my daily limit?
Requests over the limit return a 429 with a Retry-After header. Your queue will hold the job and retry when the window resets at midnight UTC. No emails are silently dropped.
How does the dedicated IP warm-up work?
When you purchase a dedicated IP, we start a 16-week warm-up schedule automatically. Week 1 is capped at 50 emails/day, scaling to full volume by week 16. Your dashboard shows real-time warm-up progress.
Can I use Resent for bulk/marketing email?
Resent is optimised for transactional email (receipts, OTPs, password resets). Marketing campaigns are not supported and may result in account suspension.
Which regions do you operate in?
All infrastructure runs in the EU (Frankfurt and Helsinki). If you need US-region sending, get in touch.
